The Tigers reached there yesterday (Tuesday). But on their way to the city of Wales from London, they had to face some unexpected trouble.
Generally it takes around 3 hours to travel from London to Cardiff by road. But due to excessive traffic jam in the highway, they had to spend 1.30 hours more, as it took the Tigers more than 5 hours of bus journey to reach Cardiff.
Bangladesh team set foot in Cardiff at 10p, BdST on Tuesday. Bangladesh team’s media manager Rabid Imam confirmed the news.
“We started our journey at local time 12.30pm, and we were supposed to reach Cardiff within 3.30pm. But due to excessive traffic jam, we reached there in more than five hours,” he said.
However, Imam confirmed that everyone of the team is fit and healthy despite the long journey just two days before their all-important clash against the Kiwis at Sophia Gardens.
Due to their travelling schedule, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and Co. didn’t have any training sessions on Tuesday. They will start training from 3pm BdST on Wednesday.
