Viv Richards thinks 'Bangladesh beating England would have been an upset'

Bangladesh started their Champions Trophy 2017 mission with a defeat to hosts England. All the cricket fans around the world had a big expectation on Bangladesh before the game.

But former West Indian cricketer Viv Richards in a recent talk show said different thing as he thinks, had Bangladesh won against England, that would have been an upset. He even made fun of the Bangladeshi batsmen saying they don’t have the capability of scoring over 300 runs.

“Let us establish one thing that we didn’t get the upset and that’s the most important thing. But at the end of the day I think we had good game of cricket. I think before the match no one thought they would have taken over 300 runs with the bat but they have taken that,” he said.

“It was a competitive total but I didn’t think they had the fire power. And what I said earlier even Bangladesh who thought there could have been an upset that England would be too strong,” the legendary Windies cricketer concluded.
