On the eve of his 300th One- day International match, it still remains a tough task to describe Yuvraj Singh in a nutshell. The battle against germ cell cancer was the biggest fight he has fought in his life. It was tougher than a Malinga yorker or a Mustiz cutter.
The 35-year old Indian batting stalwart made his international debut in 2000 against Kenya during the ICC KnockOut but did not bat until the next game, when he dazzled with 84 off 80 balls to help his side to knock Australia out of the tournament.
However, the left-handed batsman has been an enigma as well as a paradox in Indian cricket. He has been part of several successful Indian campaigns at ICC events, topmost of which was his star all-round run during the 2011 World Cup.
