BCCI invites applications for Team Manager of India

BCCI wants 'Big Three' model working till JuneBoard of Control for Cricket in India, after appointing the head coach of the national team, has now invited applicants for the post of the national team manager.

In a release, BCCI stated the applicant should have to fulfill and demonstrate few conditions before being selected. The deadline of submitting the application is July 21.

The team manager will have to accompany the team in every home and away series and should be below 60 years of age.

The other criteria for applying the managerial position of the team are – the person must have the experience of playing in first class or international level and has successfully managed a cricket team of any of the affiliated units of BCCI or the national teams, at the first class or at the international level, or have minimum of ten years of working experience in public/private sector, will be preferred.

BCCI said the candidate must have well acquainted with the latest sport technologies, software and ability to use them.

The candidates should be proficient in English in Hindi languages and some understanding of some other regional languages of India would be considered as an added skill.

Although BCCI said a Master’s degree is desirable, candidates must be a graduate from any recognized university.
