Newly appointed batting coach Mark O’Neil has started working to develop skills of national team cricketers co-operatively with head coach Chandika Hathurusingha.

In the beginning of the second day of skill training, cricketers started the session in gymnasium to enhance fitness.

After that batting and bowling sessions began at the National Cricket Academy. Intense batting sessions began were followed by the net sessions.

Each batsman worked on his focus point under the caretaking of national coaches.

The significant portion was the batting practice of lower order batsmen like Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman and Taijul Islam. The new batting coach tipped all the lower order batsmen with stern batting practices.

Premier fast bowler Rubel Hossain has joined in the net practice on Monday and bowled for the first time after recovering from jaw injury.

Rubel Hossain has informed that he could deliver with sixty percent intensity and did not feel any trouble so far.
