Bangladesh infront of another milestone

The much anticipated first Test match between host Bangladesh and visiting Australia is going to start in Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Sunday. However, other nine Test playing nation already have reached this milestone before Bangladesh. Zimbabwe was the last team to reach the milestone when they played their 500th match in 2011.

Bangladesh will be the third fastest team to play the 500th match as they take 31 years to reach the milestone. Sri Lanka took 27 years and Zimbabwe took 28 years to play the same number of international cricket matches.

It should be mentioned, Bangladesh won 135 matches out of 499 thus far while lost 340 matches and there were no result in 24 matches.
