According to the schedule, the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah is the venue of the practice match; but flooded condition of Fatullah due to incessant rain falling in this year’s rainy season forced BCB to look out for an alternative venue.
Bangladesh Cricket Board Media Committee Chairman Jalal Yunus informed BKSP will soon be prepared as the alternative venue to arrange the practice match of Australia.
Four out of five entries of the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah have been inundated.
“We are preparing BKSP as an option to arrange the practice match if plays would not be possible in Fatullah. We will sort out a practice match anyhow when Australia will come,” said Jalal Yunus.
About the facilities in BKSP, Jalal Yunus said, “We arranged a practice match in BKSP when Zimbabwe came to visit. We will fix up all equipment so that media personnel could cover the match properly. There will be internet connection and all other facilities.”
Although the alternative venue has been settled, BCB media committee chairman said that he is not yet confirm where to place the match.
