The Aussies are coming to Bangladesh on this 18th August to play two Test matches against the Tigers. This is for the first time they are coming over for a Test series after 2006.
At present Bangladesh is ranked as no 9th team in ICC Test rankings. On the other side, the Aussies are the number three Test team in the world. Still they haven’t seen Bangladesh as a poor side.
They will keep the recent improvement of the Tigers on their mind before coming down to the pitch.
In an article published in the Australian website about the series between Bangladesh and Australia, they have soughted several reasons for excitement of this series.
Among them they have highlighted the recent improvement of Bangladesh. According to the report, Bangladesh might have been the 9th ranked side in ICC ranking but they have all the capabilities and willingness to beat the Aussies on both the Test matches.
Most importantly they played the Semi-finals of the Champions Trophy led by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza.
They also put up on the article that the Aussies have Ashes series coming ahead and they don’t have any Test matches except these two against Bangladesh, which literally summarizes their importance of this series.
