Heavy rain forecast given during 1st Test in Dhaka

Heavy rain forecast given during 1st Test in Dhaka Bangladesh first Test against strong Australia after 11 years, scheduled to start two days from now on, is likely to be showered by untimely monsoon rainfall.

Forecasts from weather department has red eyed to the smooth procedure of days in the first Test to be taken place at the home of cricket, Mirpur Sher – e – Bangla national stadium in Dhaka.

Latest forecasts has pointed out to increased amount of rain from 27th to 31st of August.

One of the forecasters in weather department said, “The amount of rain falling will increase in that period of time comparing to present days. There is a probability of increasing in duration as well. Rainy hours will be long at the ending phase of this month.”

The intensification of rainy season this year has already inundated a large area of the country causing devastating flood in different districts.
