Injury forces another change in Aus squad

Right-arm seamer Jackson Bird has been announced as a replacement for James Pattinson in the 14-member squad for two-Test tour in Bangladesh later this month. [নিউজটি বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ অস্ট্রেলিয়া দল থেকে ছিটকে গেলেন তারকা পেসার] 

Just a few hours ago, leg-spinner Mitchell Swepson was named as 14th member in Australia’s squad for Bangladesh Tests. Cricket Australia had to make another change soon.

Pacer James Pattinson has been ruled out of the tour due to inflammation in his back. He was included in Australia squad in June.

Bird, the Tasmanian pacer recently expressed his eagerness of getting a place in the squad. The luck has favoured him as he will replace Pattinson. He will be the third pacer in Bangladesh tour. Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins have retained their places from India tour.

Bird played only eight Tests and took 34 wickets at 27.47. He returned to Australia Test line-up last year. He played three Tests last summer, one against South Africa and two against Pakistan.

Australia will land in Bangladesh on August 18. They will play a two-dayer tour match on August 22-23. The first Test will begin from August 27 at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur. The second Test will be from September 4 at Chittagong’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
