Although the 31-year old is part of the upcoming Test series, he wouldn’t has to be out of cricket in this period of as he has been picked by Jamaica Tallawahs for the ongoing season of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). He will replace Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim in the tournament.
In his latest interview with Jamuna Television, the Bangladesh all-rounder has said he wants to concentrate only on his latest duty in CPL and doesn’t want to think too much about not being able to find a place in the Bangladesh Test side.
“Actually I’m planning about the thing that I have ahead now. I have been given an opportunity to play in the CPL and I am concentrating only on that,” said Mahmudullah.
He also believes if he can perform well in the CPL, it would help to get his place back in the team. “I have to perform well there and hopefully I will try my best In-Shaa-Allah, to get my place back in the Test team,” he added.
