According to some reliable sources, the 33-year pacer was feeling sick from Saturday morning and thus he was taken to hospital. It has been known that there was blood coming out with his cough.
However, the problem is not severe as Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) doctor, Debashish Chowdhury informed the meedia that everything was fine and Mashrafe wouldn’t have to admit himself in the hospital.
“There is nothing serious happened to Mashrafe. He coughed up some blood in the morning and that’s why he went to hospital for checkup. His lungs has been checked and everything is fine now. He won’t have to be admitted in hospital,” Debashish Chowdhury informed.
To be noted, Bangladesh Cricket team led by Test skipper Mushfiqur Rahim, are currently in Chittagong for a conditioning camp ahead of the upcoming two-match Test series against Australia. As Mashrafe is not considered as a Test player, he hasn’t gone there with the team.
