Mominul scores fifty, Nasir going solid

Tigers are playing three-day practice match by diving in two sides in Chittagong as the part of training camp prior to the Australia Series. On Thursday, Mominul Haque and Tamim Iqbal started  their innings against Mushfiqur Rahim’s XI. [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ মুমিনুল-নাসিরের ব্যাটে ছন্দ]

Tamim seemed good but he got rid of scoring 29. On the other side, Mominul batted superbly and brought up half-century.

He played some extra-ordinary shots, played extremely well against the off-spinners but all on a sudden, he fell in a trap on short-leg. After playing a lovely innings of 73 runs, he was removed by Sunzamul Islam. Hence, he missed out the opportunity to bring up century.

Then Sabbir Rahman, who have been passing through bad patch, failed to prove his worth as he departed early. Taijul Islam was the wicket taker of Sabbir Rahman.

After that, Nasir Hossain and Tanvir Hayder played solidly throughout the session. Nasir Hossain is looking good and he remains unbeaten on 32 till the lunch-break of day-2. Meanwhile, Tamim’s XI have added a total of 164/4 before the lunc break on day-2.

Earlier, Mushfiq declared their first innings with 140 runs for 9 wickets after asked to bat first by Tamim Iqbal at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadiumin Chittagong.
