Bangladesh cricket team safely back in Dhaka

Bangladesh cricket team, have safely returned in Dhaka, after a successful 7-day training camp in Chittagong. At the end of the training camp, Tigers have returned to Dhaka on Friday night at 10.30 pm. [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ সফল ক্যাম্প শেষে ঢাকায় ফিরলো টাইগাররা]

The only three-day warm-up match of the camp, was interrupted by rain where Tigers could able to play 122 overs. Bangladesh cricket team’s chief selector, Minhazul Abedin Nannu is happy with this despite not being able to play on third day due to heavy rain.

Chief selector revealed that their expectations from this training camp has been fulfilled. He also belives, this camp will be key for the Tigers against Australia in the impending series.

It can be mentioned, Australia will play second and last Test match of two-match Test series in Chittagong. Hence, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), decided to arrange this special camp for the Tigers.

It has been learnt, Bangladesh cricket team will take rest on Sunday after that they will again start their training camp from this Sunday. Later, they will be featured in another a two-day warm-up match prior to the battle ahead. The two-day warm-up match will be held in Dhaka from 16-17 August.

Australia is expected to come in Bangladesh in 18th August for two Tests against the host Tigers. First Test of two match Test series between the visitors Australia and host Bangladesh is scheduled to start from 27 August in Dhaka, while last match of the series will be held in Chittagong from 4-8 September.
