NZ looks to host first day-night Test New Zealand hopes to host their first day night Test match in the coming year when they will face England in own soil on March 2018. The Kiwis met their first ever day night affair of a Test three years ago in Brisbane where they lost the match by 3 wickets against Australia.

England is scheduled to visit New Zealand on March 2018 to play two Test matches, five one day international matches and a T20 tri-series featuring Australia.

A total four day night Test matches have been held so far with Australia hosting three another was held in Dubai between Pakistan and West Indies.

England is yet to play their first ever day night Test match. They are scheduled play one this month at Edgbaston against West Indies and another one is featured in the forthcoming Ashes.

New Zealand will host another bilateral series against West Indies in 2018 where they will feature in two Tests, three one day internationals and three T20 internationals.
