Third day’s game between Mushfiqur Rahim’s BCB Red Team and Tamim Iqbal’s BCB Green Team, has been washed-out due to heavy rainfall in Chittagong. [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ বৃষ্টিতে পন্ড প্রস্তুতি ম্যাচের শেষ দিন]

Both teams’ were looking to feature in third day’s game to complete their warm-up on a high prior to the Australia series. But, it could not happened.

In the three-day warm up match, most of the cricketers, who are in the line for national team call-up became successful, while senior cricketers like- Imrul Kayes, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyad alongside Liton Das, Sabbir Rahman failed rove their wrth.

After asking to bat first, Mushfiq and his co declared their first innings, adding 140 runs for losing 9 wickets on the scoreboard. Nazmul Hossain Shanto’s 53 was the highest scorer for his side. Mushfiq also scored 30 runs to post the total.

In reply, Tamim Iqbal’s BCB Green Team, got a lead of 143 runs. As BCB Red got a total of 283 runs in their first innings. By riding three fifties from Mominul Haque (73), Nasir Hossain (62) and Tanbir Hasan (51), Tamim and co got the lead.

Among the bowlers of BCB Red, Rubel Hossain and Saqlain bagged 3 wickets each while Taijul got 2  wickets.

In reply, BCB Red started their second innings in the last phase of second day and lost Imrul Kaye’s wicket to score 24 runs from 5 overs. Then rain interrupted the game. Later, umpires stumped day-two’s game.
