Ranatunga slams Sri Lanka Cricket board for series lossThe former Sri Lankan skipper Arjuna Ranatunga blames the Sri Lanka Cricket Board for the whitewash against India on the last series. He declared that the fault was of the management but not of the skipper Dinesh Chandimal who titled this as his worst series loss. He added that Sri Lanka is going through one of the worst period and the players are also demoralized.

After a number of injuries and change of leadership he advised the Sri Lanka cricket chief to be sacked and also requested the ICC to investigate the management staffs for the whole series.

He also mentioned that there was a number of series loss only due to lack of ‘proper discipline’ on the squad.

Ranatunga also blamed his fellow teammate Sanath Jayasuriya the chief selector of the squad at present as a man without backbone for work.

Ranatunga who is currently at Sri Lanka politics, urged for investigation on Sri Lanka’s loss to India on 2011 world cup and also this series.

He also blamed Sumathipala a member of Sri Lanka cricket board for gambling which might result in his losing of job.
