‘SA series will be a great challenge’ says Hathurusingha

Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha has acknowledged the challenge would be later when Bangladesh will tour to South Africa.

“The South Africa tour will be right after the series against Australia. South Africa is an unknown condition for us. There it is a tough condition for any team in the world. South Africa is the number one Test team, it would be a great challenge for us truly,” Chandika Hathurusingha said.

With that, Tigers’ head coach informed that Bangladesh have definite plans to play in South African soil.

“Match planning would also be difficult with match conditions. We have definite plans for the tour. The team members will have to adjust with the condition hastily,” he said.

“We will find two weeks to prepare ourselves before the series in South Africa. Those days will bear great importance for us to cope with everything up there,” Chandika Hathurusingha marked.

Bangladesh will play two Test matches, three one day international matches and two T20Is in the tour of South Africa.
