Sabbir is not perfect for no. 3, says former cricketer

“We should pick Mominul for no.3 as Sabbir is not perfect for the no. 3 position in test matches. On the other hand, I think Sabbir has to struggle a lot to get the chance in playing XI as we already have Miraz and Mosaddek in our team,” said the former middle-order batsman.

The former rift-handed batsman also said if the team management finally decides to exclude Mominul from the playing XI then Imrul Kayes should be be given the privilege.

“If team management decides to exclude Mominul from the team, then I think Imrul should be given the privilege. However, we should pick three spinners and two seamers as that will be the perfect combination.”

Meanwhile, Rajin Saleh also revealed his expectation from Mushfiqur Rahim and his team as he said, “I am expecting a lot from current Bangladesh team. We lost to Australia as we were not much experienced at that time but this team is much experienced. Hopefully, they won’t do any silly mistakes.”

“Bangladesh is a strong spin bowling side now. We had Mohammad Rafique in our team who is still the best spinner of Bangladesh. But, we didn’t have a world-class all-rounder like Shakib Al Hasan. Moreover, Taijul, Miraz, Mosaddek and Mahmudullah are here to help him. I think we can rely on our spinners,” he signed off.
