Mohammad Ashraful holds the record of playing most number of Test matches for Bangladesh, he played 61 matches.

Meanwhile former skipper Habibul Bashar retired from international cricket playing his 50th Test.
Tamim is the highest run getter for Bangladesh in Test cricket; he scored 3677 runs while Shakib Al Hasan scored 3479 runs. Shakib Al Hasan also grabbed 176 Test wickets.
