Though the BCB officials held several meetings with the officials of visiting side, but they failed to make any decision until late Friday (August 18).

Still, BCB executive officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury is quite optimistic about making a final decision in the shortest possible time. He said, “We will not take much time about it. Hopefully tomorrow [today] we will make a decision.”

The warm-up match was initially supposed to be held at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah on August 22-23, but some part of the outfield remained under water following heavy monsoon rain.

The BCB and the National Sports Council had been working quite hard for last couple of days to make the ground ready, but could not make it done as more rain continued to pour in.

Meanwhile, a BCB official said they would visit BKSP again today before finally making a decision about the venue. The BKSP-3 ground is said to have a nice drainage system, and could host the much talked-about match.
