Tamim has been boosted six places to stand in 14th position now. Meanwhile star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has also been lifted six positions in the Test batsmen ranking to stay in career best 14th position.
The world number one all-rounder produced a match winning figure in the first Test of the two match Test series against visiting Australia. He hauled 10 wickets conceding 153 runs in Dhaka.
On the other end, teenage sensation Mehedi Hasan Miraz flied to 30th position in the bowler’s list, moved four places from his previous position while Taijul Islam, also moving four positions, now stands at 32nd in the list.
Shakib Al Hasan firmer his place in the top of the all-rounder’s ranking with highest 489 points. The world number one scored 84 and 5 respectively in two innings of the Dhaka Test.
For Australia, David Warner has been moved to the top ten again after his brave century in the second innings of the first Test against Bangladesh. He has been lifted five positions to fix at number six in the Test batsmen ranking.
