Mashrafe Bin Mortaza described the incident about one of the ultimate honest men who sent his lost mobile phone back to him after a whole day.
“Some two days ago, as I went back to my hotel after having dinner at a Kolkata restaurant, I found my mobile phone lost that I might dropped in the dine. I did not hope to find it back but called in my number wishing if some hearty man caught sight of the thing!” Mashrafe said.
“Someone picked my phone from the other end, asked me where I retreated my belonging and the address. I said him I could come to his place to take the phone. It was almost 12 o’clock at night. He sternly said, ‘I’m going to sleep now; you will find your thing tomorrow morning at 10’,” Mashrafe continued.
“The next day, I called him and he said he was coming. He was right there at 11 a.m. I could not even pay his taxi fare; I was afraid I could hurt him. But I took a selfie with him by that phone, his name is Abdur Rauf,” Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said.
The overwhelmed Tiger skipper uttered as he said : “The world is still beautiful for such nice people. Such honest people may live longer that we other people can learn from them.”
