Keeping the Australia Series ahead the Tigers did a week of conditioning camp in Chittagong and came back to Dhaka last night.
With a day gap in the middle they are going to continue their practice from Sunday. On the 16th and 17th of this month they will face each other on another practice match by dividing the team among themselves.
The only practice match which was a part of the camp got wasted due to rain. The match went on for just two days with 122 overs chance to bat.
According to the Chief Selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu, this camp is going to help the Tigers for their upcoming series against the Aussies.
If everything goes right, the Aussies are going to land in Bangladesh this 18th August and will be playing a practice match on 22-23rd of August either in Fatullah or BKSP.
The first match of the series will be held in Dhaka from 27-31st August following the second Test to be held in Chittagong on 4-8th September.
Due to security issues, Australia canceled their series against Bangladesh on 2015. Though the BCB officials ensured the top level security for the Australian Cricket Team, the Aussie authorities denied to go with the tour at that time.
Last time Australia came here for a series was on 2011 to play 3 one day international matches where there were schedules for two Tests also.
