Afghan youth team reached Bangladesh Afghanistan youth team has arrived Bangladesh to feature in a five-match one-day series against Bangladesh under-19 team.

The bilateral series will take off from 28th of September. The flight carrying Afghanistan youth team touched Bangladesh in 9 am on Monday.

The news have been ensured by Zahidur Rahman Mollick Jony, the man in charge of Afghanistan team in the tour. He said to Bdcrictime correspondent, “The team have reached safely in Bangladesh on Monday night and later stayed in a local hotel at night.”

All five matches of the series will take place in Sylhet. The visiting team is going to leave Dhaka in Tuesday to reach the venue district.

They will take a day rest before taking preparation for the series to come.

Bangladesh Cricket Board has brought slight changes in the fixture later on. According to earlier fixture, the first four matches was scheduled to be held in Sylhet and the last match was to take place in Dhaka. But BCB later changed the venue of the last match from Dhaka to Sylhet as well.

The second and third matches of the series will occur on 30th of this month and 2nd of October before the fourth and final match to take place on 4th and 6th October respectively.
