Robiul became severely sick during a practice session last year and then he was immediately taken to hospital. After few days, everyone got to know that both of his kidneys were damaged.

Later on, Robiul was taken to India for better treatment and the doctors there were successful to make him fit again. People from different part of Bangladesh helped him financially during that period.

Robiul came back home in this June and started to take preparation for playing again. But luck was not with him and he became sick again before the Eid-ul-Azha.

To be noted, Robiul was the highest wicket taker in 2015’s Comilla district premier league. Later in 2016, he became the best bowler in “Moneygram Pacer Hunt.”
