South Africa is going to appear in their first bilateral venture under the new coach Ottis Gibson. The first of the two match Test series will kick off on 28th of this month. The two teams also face each other in a three match one day international series and two match T20I series.
The new head coach of the Proteas team Gibson delivered positive remarks for Bangladesh hence warned South Africa from being over confident at home.
He said, “I don’t want South Africa to start playing taking Bangladesh lightly. We have watched their performance against Australia. I was with the England team last year in Bangladesh and I’ve seen them beating England as well.”
Gibson also said, “Bangladesh is a confident side. We cannot start playing with them effortlessly in field. The series is going to be a tough one.”
“They have Courtney Walsh with them and Bangladesh head coach has also been doing a fine job with the team that helped the country to become a tough competitor,” he added.
Bangladesh will play a three day practice match starting from 21st of September in Benoni.
