Bangladesh cricket team have reached safely in Potchefstroom prior to the first Test of two-match Test series against the hosts South Africa cricket team. [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ পচেফস্ট্রম পৌঁছেছে বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট দল]
The first Test match between visiting Bangladesh and home side South Africa is scheduled to begin from 28 September. Ahead of this match, Bangladesh moved to Potchefstroom from Benoni on Sunday. After a bus ride of 2 hours, Mushfiqur Rahim and his co reached their destination around at 5 pm in Bangladesh time.
Minhajul Abedin Nannu, the manager of Bangladesh cricket team for South Africa tour, confirmed the news of their safely arrival at Potchefstroom. It has been learnt, the visitors are going to stay in a local sports village.
It can be mentioned that Bangladesh stayed in Benoni, South Africa before traveling to Potchefstroom due to the one-off three-day warm-up match against the South Africa Invitational XI.
It can be further informed that, the first Test between South Africa and Bangladesh will begin from September 28 at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom. While, Bloemfontein’s Manguang Oval will host the second Test from October 6.
