BPL 4th Season had no inaugurating ceremony for many complications last year. But this time BCB wished to celebrate the starting of BPL and for this reason they had a huge plan about the inaugural ceremony. Many world famous singers and artists were supposed to perform there.

But for the sudden and deadly huge flood changed BCB’s plan. They have cancelled the long planned program and decided to give away the total budgeted money for the program to flood victims as relief.

With a view to this, they are going to spread some relief among flood affected people on Monday. It will be the third time they are giving relief on behalf of BCB.

Earlier in August the 25th they distributed relief among flood victims in a remote flood affected area in Sirajganj. And then after a few days of it BCB donated about two crore taka to the relief fund of honorable prime minister

This Monday they will distribute relief goods in Gheor, Manikganj. Naimur Rahman Durjoy, local MP who had been associated with Bangladesh Cricket and Cricket Board for long time, has planned to give relief there. Durjoy himself ensured the media that during relief distribution BCB officials along with the world famous all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will be present there.

BCB has always been in any sort of humanitarian help for people. They were seen to take these types of praise-worthy steps before for many times. Even they were seen helping and supporting other lagging boards and federations in different ways.

On 3rd November Bangladesh’s biggest event BPL will start in new venue Sylhet International Stadium where Sylhet Sixers will face defending champion Dhaka Dynamites.
