India became second team to win nine matches in a tour Since the advent of the shortest format of cricket, India, after their clean sweep against Sri Lanka, became the third instance of a visiting team in the history of cricket winning all matches of all three formats of the game. Overall it is for the seventh time a team winning all matches of a tour.

The tour went brilliantly for India sealing the mission with a seven wicket win in the one off T20I against the home team.

India first won the Test series by 3-0 then took the one day international series by 5-0 before picking the convincing win in the T20.

The first time a team winning all matches of a tour happened back in 2009/2010 season when Pakistan toured Australia. Aussies claimed win in all the matches of the three Test series, five match ODI series and lastly in the single T20I as well.

Meanwhile Pakistan also white washed the home team completely in 2011/2012 season firstly against Zimbabwe and then against Bangladesh.

In 2012/2013 season, Zimbabwe lost all their tour matches when they visited New Zealand.

In 2016/2017 season, Bangladesh was also clean swept by New Zealand in all tour matches.
