There has always been a tug of war between India and Pakistan in cricket, their supporters as well. But nowadays India’s greatest opponent is being no one else but Bangladesh. Due to many political and diplomatic reasons it happened. [নিউজটি বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ সাকিবকে হেয় করে ভারতীয় মিডিয়ায় সংবাদ]
India’s media has always been humiliating Bangladeshi Cricket. Not only the media, even Indian people also hate Bangladesh Cricket. In 2016 at Eden Garden supporters there supported Pakistan instead of Bangladesh. This shows the hatred they hold for Bangladesh.
In last month Bangladesh could achieve a great win against Aussies. But even that positive news was presented negatively in many media of India. One of the Kolkatan Bengali media presented in such a way that it meant Bangladesh won by wicket manipulation.
This time they have published another humiliating news about world number one all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. Shakib previously gave an interview to a local media in a part of which he was asked about upcoming India-Australia series. Shakib replied with some suggestions to India for winning against Australia. This is presented negatively before Indians by that media. They have made a news with an inappropriate title.
The title was “বিশ্বের এক নম্বর দলকে পরামর্শ দিয়ে হাসির খোরাক সাকিব, আপনিও হাসবেন” which means Shakib to be a matter of laugh by giving suggestions to number one team of cricket. They tried to mean that Shakib’s team is lagging behind so many steps than India and so he doesn’t deserve to suggest anything to them.
In the interview Shakib said, “India will always get some plus point in home ground. Aussies are in a pressure. Indian bowling line up is very destructive. But they mustn’t make mistakes in batting. This is the key to win.”
This simple suggestion is presented negatively on that particular media. In that report they tried to mean Shakib’s suggestion is not expected and not needed for specialist team India. In a mocking literature and inappropriate caption they made that report which is very poor in quality in the sense of professionalism.
