In a recent interview with The Daily Prothom-alo, the 33-year old cricketer talked about the Bangladesh Test team who are currently in South Africa for two- test series.
The experienced campaigner thinks Proteas’ pace attack will be challenging for the visiting team. “In South Africa, the main challenge for us will be facing their pace bowlers perfectly,” he said.
However, the right-handed pacer believes Bangladesh have some quality batsmen who are enough capable of facing them. “We have some quality batsmen in our Test squad who have that ability. We scored 600 against New Zealand in Wellington although Shakib is not there who smashed double hundred in that match.”
He added on the same, “But there are enough skilled batsmen in our side and we have to take 20 wickets to win Test although I don’t want to predict so early. Most of our players will play in South Africa for the first time and so we shouldn’t create more pressure on them. I just want to see good cricket from our team.”
