Mushfiqur unaware of Shakib’s leave application

But Test skipper Mushfiqur Rahim revealed he did not come to know the incident of Shakib taking a leave before. The ace all-rounder applied to the board president precisely without letting anything to spill out to Test skipper or head coach of the team.

“Shakib told to the board president; we heard from here and there,” said Mushfiqur Rahim.

“I didn’t know whether he could manage the leave or not,” Mushfiqur added.

“When I heard about the grant of leave for Shakib, I became prepared mentally. He is not replaceable by anyone. Let’s see what we could do. Cricket is a game of unity; we will try to play well without him,” said Bangladesh Test skipper.
