Nasir imitates umpire Nigel Llong after successful review

Known as Mr. finisher for the Tigers, all-rounder Nasir Hossain couldn’t contain his excitement when a successful review dismissed Australia’s lower-order batsman Pat Cummins on the third day of the second and final Test in Chittagong on Wednesday.

A Leg Before Wicket (LBW) appeal by Bangladesh spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz in the last ball of the 108th over of the Aussies innings, on a wickedly spinning delivery wide outside off was initially deemed not out by umpire Nigel Llong.

Upon review by Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim however, Cummins was sent walking with the Aussies at 8/364. To help him on his way was Nasir Hossain who stood beside umpire Nigel Llong to give the raised finger with a cheeky smirk.

Meanwhile, opener David Warner’s second successive hundred against Bangladesh helped the visitors to a 72-run lead on day three of the Second Test.

The Steve Smith led side had eclipsed Bangladesh’s first innings total of 305 by tea but a late collapse from Aussies left them on 377-9 at stumps, having been 298-3 at one stage, on a day where rain washed out more than a session’s play.
