At such moment, the gentle breeze of good news came from the last board meeting of ICC where it was decided to play a series between Pakistan and World XI, a team of selected world famous star cricketers.

After a long break it’s the first series to be played in a venue of Pakistan. It is certainly a matter of excitement for them and the level of excitement can easily be understood by knowing the total amount of money spent for this series by PCB.

Pakistan Cricket Board has budgeted almost 2500 million or 250 crore taka for three match T20I series against World XI. In the calculation of dollars the digit is about 3 million.

Almost all these amounts are being spent for the hospitality and for guests. The whole amount is a bit surprising for three match T20I series but still PCB is spending all these money for special security system and hospitality purpose to meet the demand of surroundings.

But ICC is also helping PCB for this series with some amount. PCB has no risk of loss even after this huge spending, rather they are probably making much profit as the series is their resurgence series after a long break.

So far it is going well and it is properly organized as well. So new doors are to be opened for Pakistan Cricket which was closed and stayed close for long eight years after a terrorist attack against Sri Lankan Cricket Team in Lahore in 2009.

But after 2011, PCB earned some profit internally, so this time they are a bit expensive.

To be noted, in the 3 match series named Independence Cup, Pakistan is leading 1-0 winning the first one and the second one on the play!
