Highest wicket takers: Makhaya Ntini, the former South African speedster, dismissed the most number of Bangladeshi batsmen in Tests. He is the leading wicket taker for South Africa in Tests against the Tigers with 35 wickets. Dale Steyn is next to him. He has 28 wickets besides his name.

For Bangladesh, it is Shahadat Hossain who is on the top of the chart with 15 wickets. Shakib Al Hasan just 2 wickets away from him.

Highest Total: 330 is the highest total in an innings for Bangladesh against South Africa, while 583 for 7 is the highest total for Proteas against the Tigers. That total came in 9 years back in Chittagong Test. To be noted, South Africa scored five hundred plus total twice against the Tigers.
