Steyn eying comeback against Bangladesh

Dale Steyn hopes to return in international cricket against BangladeshDale Steyn, the South African fast bowler is eyeing a comeback in Test Cricket and with Bangladesh series around the corner, he is expected to play in the first class fixtures starting from next Tuesday to put himself in contention for South Africa’s Test squad against Bangladesh.

Styen has been out of cricket since November after he broke a bone in shoulder. He is now getting ready to play across all formats but before that he has to prove his fitness in the domestic cricket starting next week.

Since there is only one round of first class matches before Bangladesh series, performance have to be immediate and outstanding to force his way out to the national side, informed by the selection convener Linda Zondi.

Steyn will represent the Titans in the domestic cricket and he will reunite with Morne Morkel and his national team captain Faf du Plessis. South Africa will announce their Test squad for the two match series on next Friday.
