Comilla Victorians have brought back their 2015 hero Alok Kapali, who guided them to their first Bangladesh Premier League title. They have picked seven locals and two foreigners in the players’ draft for the 2017 edition.
Comilla have strengthen their bowling attack by picking Bangladesh’s T20 specialist pacer Al-Amin Hossain and Pakistan’s specialist Rumman Raees, the left-arm seam bowler. They have also called for left-arm spinner Arafat Sunny, who played a handy role for Rangpur Riders in 2016.
Apart from Raees, the 2015 champions have picked Zimbabwe’s all-rounder Solomon Mire. Mire was the star for his country in the ODI series win in Sri Lanka.
Local cricketers: Al-Amin Hossain, Arafat Sunny, Alok Kapali, Mahedi Hasan, Mehedi Hasan Rana, Enamul Haque, Rakibul Hasan.
