After finishing one of the most successful Test series at home, Bangladesh has left for a crucial away mission in South Africa on Saturday. Before flying to the African nation, Tiger’s Test skipper Mushfiqur Rahim talked about his personal and team goals in the forthcoming series.
Having a look back to the last completed series where Bangladesh earned their major Test victory against a top ranked team that was against Australia, Mushfiqur aimed for a better show in the forthcoming mission correcting mistakes of the previous series.
“We missed several chances against Australia. But I think we could come to win the first Test for the two understanding catches Soumya picked,” Mushfiqur said.
“Everyone talks when we miss but a few people appreciate the outstanding fielding we do often. We take criticisms with ease. We will try to improvise things in a better way in the next series,” Mushfiqur also said.
The two match Test series against South Africa will commence from 28th of September.
The second Test will start from 6th of October. Bangladesh will play a three match one day series and two match T20I series after that.
