Bangladesh need 370 to avoid whitewash

South Africa have posted a mammoth 369 runs in the 3rd and final ODI at East London. [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ হোয়াইটওয়াশ এড়াতে বাংলাদেশের লক্ষ্য ৩৭০]

After losing the first two ODIs, Bangladesh have already lost the series and now need to chase down 370 runs to earn some pride.

South Africa won the toss for the first time in this series and elected to bat first. As Hashim Amla is rested for the match, Bavuma and Quinton de Kock opened the innings and they shared a partnership of 119 runs before Bavuma departed for 48.

Mehedi Hasan brought the breakthrough and then also picked the wicket of other opener de Kock for 73 runs. Then skipper Faf du Plessis was guiding South Africa to a big score but due to a sudden back pain he had to go back to pavilion for 91 runs. 

In the end, the late cameo of Kagiso Rabada and Farhan Beherdien helped South Africa to post 369 runs in their 50 overs. Taskin Ahmed and Mehedi Hasan both picked up 2 wickets for Bangladesh.
