BCB election to be held on 31st of October

BCB 2nd most followed cricket board on TwitterThe much awaited election of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has at last been scheduled. The date fixed for the election is 31st of this month.

After completing a long meeting, Chief Election Commissioner, joint secretary of youth and sports ministry Mohammad Omar Faruq NDC has met with the press on Thursday.

The voting procedure will take place from 10 am to 5 pm in the board room of BCB office. The counting will be started as soon as the voting would be ended and result will be revealed on 3 pm in next day.

The voting for directors will be under 23 categories. For directors, there will be 10 candidates under category-1, 12 candidates under category-2 and 1 candidate under category-3.

The nomination paper will be allotted on 20th October from 10 am to 4 pm. The nomination papers can be submitted from 10 am to 4pm on 24th of October and the election commission will announce the final list of candidates in the next day, 25th October.

There will be a chance of withdrawing the nomination paper on 29th of October after the annual hearing would complete on 28th.

The term of present Executive Committee of BCB will come to an end on 17th of this month.
