With less than 1 month to go, the fixture has been changed again. BCB has confirmed in a press conference on Monday that BPL will kick off on 4th November. But, the venue will remain the same.
In this edition, 7 teams will take part in the tournament. Sylhet will be under new ownership and management and their new name is Sylhet Sixers and Barisal Bulls who took part in the last edition are excluded from the tournament after failing financial terms and conditions.
As decided earlier BPL will start in Sylhet and the opening match will be between Sylhet Sixers and the defending champions Dhaka Dynamites at the Sylhet International Stadium.
The fifth edition of Bangladesh’s biggest cricket event will continue for more than 1 month this time. The Final will be on 12th December at the Shere-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
