The Fizz said that he doesn’t get happy by watching the wicket even it looks good for seamers. He wants to continue bowling well for his team in the second Test.
“I don’t get happy seeing the wicket. The ball will travel faster, it’s not like I am happy about that. My job is to bowl well. It will be helpful for my team if I play well,” he told the reporters at Manguang Oval on Wednesday.
“I didn’t see the wicket properly. I just went past it. But it’s a better track than the previous one (Potchefstroom).
“I’ll try do whatever is going to be good for the team. I don’t have much thoughts on it (green pitch). Good bowing will be good on any track.”
Mustafizur took one wicket in the first innings of the first Test and then took two more in the second innings. Compared to other pacers, he was much better with his discipline.
“We don’t bowl that much faster around 140 kmph like them. So I tried to execute my variations, change angles and use my cutters in the first Test. It did really help me,” the left-armer added.
The Potchefstroom wicket flat but it will be a typical South African track in Bloemfontein Test, which starts from Friday.
