‘It feels like first-class cricket,’ says Rabada

The ongoing Test series between Bangladesh and hosts South Africa has been one sided as the Ptoteas have scored 1316 runs for the loss of just 13 wickets, while Bangladesh have thus far lost 30 for 564.

Meanwhile, the local South African journalists went as far as to compare the standard of these Tests against Bangladesh to that of first-class cricket.

Although Rabada also admitted that the atmosphere was not far off, he did not go so far as to bring the quality of the cricket into question. “I don’t think you can compare a first-class game to an international game, but it feels like one because there isn’t a crowd. It’s very peaceful,” he said.

The speed star also has revealed that they didn’t take the visitors lightly rather they prepared themselves very well for the series.
“We didn’t take (Bangladesh) lightly. We prepared very well and we executed our plans well. They’ve got some good players so we made sure we didn’t give them any space,” he said.

However, with everything going their way, just how much growth South Africa have enjoyed in this series is definitely debatable.
