He said in the press conference: “Its obviously possible to turn around. But its tough if we think about the way we played in the last two matches. I believe, this team has the ability to play even better Cricket than this. In this situation only, its looking tough. Everyone is playing for the country including me. We have already lost the series but we are able to win one match I think it will be big achievement for us.”

He added: “As one match is still to go, we will try our best to give the best shot.”

Mashrafe believes due to lack of team performance, they are not winning: “Here, Mushfiq scored one fifty and a hundred, Kayes scored fifty, only if two more could have performed like them..In last one day, Shakib bowled well, Rubel bowled well, only if two more bowlers could have brought breakthroughs. Team performances didn’t happen here. But we have always won due to performances as an unit.”

The skipper also believes there’s still a lot can be achieved from this tour: “Its still possible to make a comeback. There are still three matches left. If we can perform well in the rest of the matches, it will a good experience then for the future tours.”

Mashrafe also mentioned about the injured Tamim Iqbal and Mustafizur Rahman: “Losing best batsman and best bowler in the team together is a massive blow. I think, there’s no use of giving am excuse. If I say we lost due to this reason, then its actually not. It had many small small reasons. We couldn’t perform as a team, this is one of the big reason.”
