Litton laments ignorance of condition behind the loss

Litton explains Bangladesh's poor batting displayYoung wicket keeper batsman Litton Kumar Das showcased the best score among the unacceptable downfall of Bangladeshi batsmen in both innings of the Bloemfontein Test against South Africa.

The visitors might have collapsed under hundred runs had Litton not played the innings of fiery 70 runs in 77 deliveries. He smashed 13 fours in the innings.

“To me, the wicket of Mushfiqur Rahim turned the momentum of the match. Bavuma took a real stunner. It could sometimes happen that a single catch can turn a match away from a team. Mushfiqur is the best batsman of our team; when he had to depart like that way, the team fall under definite catastrophe,” Litton said.

Acknowledging that the wicket is not difficult for batting, the youngster said, “The wicket was not difficult for batting. To get out, you need just a single delivery. Sometimes anyone might get wrong

“You have to understand the fact that we came to play here after ten long years; we are not a bit accustomed with the condition; although I know this kind of excuses are not acceptable; but we have had this in our mind. We are a better team than the way we showed,” Litton said.
