Bangladesh were enforced to follow-on after getting bowled out for 147 runs in the first innings. They finished at 7/0 in 1.2 overs on day two. The start of third day’s play wasn’t good at all for the tourists as Kagiso Rabada dismissed Soumya Sarkar (3) and Mominul Haque (11) early.
Imrul Kayes and skipper Mushfiqur Rahim settled down the things a bit. Imrul got another start but couldn’t make it bigger. He was caught down the legside off Duanne Olivier for 32 runs off 53 balls including five fours and a six.
Mushfiqur got a blow on his head which delayed the play for a while. But he kept on fighting hard for his team. He was dismissed by Wayne Parnell just before lunch break. He left scoring 26 off 45 with three fours.
Bangladesh lost four wickets in this session. They are 92/4 in 23.4 overs with Mahmudullah Riyad remaining not out for 23-ball 14 with a four and a six. The Tigers are still trailing by 334 runs with six wickets remaining.
