Mustafizur will comeback strongly: Waqar

Mustafiz celebrates a wicket

Former Pakistan bowler Waqar Younis has arrived in Bangladesh on Tuesday after BPL team Sylhet Sixers invited him. While going from Dhaka to Sylhet, the legendary bowler had some quick chat with some reporters.

When Waqar was asked about Mustafizur he said: “Mustafizur is a quality bowler. He is passing some bad time now. But he will comeback strongly very soon.”

Other than that, Waqar also discussed about the tour of Bangladesh against South Africa and he believes Bangladesh needs to play more matches there: “South Africa has always been a tough place for the bowlers. A bowler can’t be great by playing only two Test matches there. It is required to play many matches there.”

He also believes Bangladesh need to win matches not at home only but also outside the subcontinent: “If they play more and more matches outside home, they can get used to the condition and wicket. So Bangladesh needs to play more away matches.”
