Rain ruins all third round matches NCL Lengthy rainy hours in late autumn throughout the country ruined third round matches of National Cricket League. All four matches of NCL have been affected by rainfall ending in no result.

Three of the four matches has ended in draw and the other match has also been abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Dhaka versus Khulna: The match between Dhaka Division and Khulna Division has ended in draw at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

Dhaka Division batted first and mounted a big score of 519 runs in their first innings. Nadif Chowdhury and Mosharraf Hossain Rubel both captured their respective tons.

In reply, Khulna Division became all-out scoring 247 runs in the first innings. Dhaka Division did not enforce the follow on despite Khulna failed to cover the needed score in the first innings.

Dhaka Division lost 4 wickets scoring 180 runs in the second innings when match ended without any result. The points are shared between two teams.

Rangpur Division versus Barisal Division: At the Shahid Kamruzzaman Stadium, the match between Rangpur Division and Barisal Division was extended up to 16.2 overs only.

Rangpur Division batted first and scored 61 run for the loss of 1 wicket before rain washed away rest of the time.

Dhaka Metro versus Rajshahi Division: At the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna, the match between Dhaka Metro and Rajshahi Division also ended with no result.

Batting first, Rajshahi Division scored 220 runs in 77.1 overs in their first innings. Junaid Siddiqui Imrose scored highest 85 runs.

In reply, Dhaka Metro scored 329 runs losing 9 wickets in 120 overs.

The match ended when Rajshahi Division reached 11 runs losing 1 wicket in 3 overs.

The match between Chittagong Division and Sylhet Division was washed away without a single ball being bowled.
