Team boy! A person upon whom team members and staffs bank on for everyday assistance during practice sessions and furthermore. Masum Gazi is one of them; he worked in Barisal Bulls as a team boy for previous two seasons but this year he became jobless because of the absence of Barisal Bulls in the tournament.
After watching a telecast in DBC channel about Masum Gazi’s helplessness, Rangpur Riders’ authorities have extended support to him and appointed as team boy for the forthcoming season of BPL.
Overwhelmed Gazi expressed gratitude towards Rangpur Riders’; he said, “I’m so happy and feeling relieved. At last I have found a place. I’m also thanking DBC and all those who stayed beside me. Many of my friends and cricketers of my surrounding helped me a lot. I am grateful to all of them.”
Mentioning being in the team with Mashrafe Bin Mortaza as a great pleasure, Masum Gazi said, “I’m enjoying a lot to find the scope to work with a good team. I’m feeling extremely lucky to work in team where Mashrafe belongs. I’ll try to provide my hundred percent for this team.”
Owned newly by the Bashundhara Group, Rangpur Riders is one of the strongest contenders of title of this season’s BPL.
